WFF Co-Hosts “#MeToo Evolving: People, Politics + Power. Now.”

Last Tuesday night over a hundred community members gathered for “#MeToo Evolving: People, Politics + Power. Now.” Poynter Fellow-in-Residence for Gender Equality, Laura Pappano, led a lively and frank discussion about the #MeToo movement to date and where it is headed. The panelists – Rebecca Corbett, NYTimes editor, led the 2018 Pulitzer Prize-winning team reporting on sexual harassment; Meredith Talusan,  a Filipina-American writer who says #MeToo must include trans and nonbinary voices; Alex Wagner, Cohost and EP of Showtime’s The Circus, and National Correspondent for CBS News; and Patricia Russo,  Executive Director of the Women’s Campaign School at Yale – offered new insights into the movement and its directions from their varying perspectives and lived experiences.
