Community Building

WFF actively builds and connects the community of women scholars at Yale through our mentoring programs and by bringing our members together. In addition to the events we host annually, we organize a number of panels and workshops that vary from year to year and address current events.

Portrait Projects

The WFF commissioned a portrait honoring the first seven women to earn PhDs at Yale and commemorating the opening of the Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences to women in 1892. WFF continues to honor women and co-education at Yale with new portraits.
