The WFF Public Voices Thought Leadership Fellowship had its last convening of the 2012-2013 year on Saturday, April 13. It was a day to celebrate how prolific this fellowship has been, contributing over 35 articles and interviews to major media outlets. In partnership with The OpEd Project, Yale Fellows are working hard to diversify the voices heard in public debate.
Following the all-day convening, the fellowship gathered over dinner. Provost-elect Ben Polak joined the celebration at the Union League, and WFF Chair Priya Natarajan gave opening remarks. The WFF would like to extend special thanks to those at The OpEd Project who have made this fellowship such an incredible success: Katie Orenstein (Founder and CEO), fellowship facilitators Courtney Martin and Zeba Khan, Chelsea Carmona (West Coast Regional Manager), and Court Baxter (OpEd Chief Wrangler).
