Workshop: “Embodied Communication for Women in Academia” led by Elise Morrison

On April 29th, WFF held its first in-person workshop of the year: “Embodied Communication for Women in Academia” led by Elise Morrison. This workshop received a high amont of interests and was attended by a dedicated gorup of postdocs and professors from across the university. Prof. Morrison led the group to a better understanding of communication by focusing on communication through words, voice, and body movement. At the end of the workshop, all attendees were invited to participate in bodily awareness practices that will help speakers stray present in their bodies.
